  • The University of Pittsburgh NCTA National Coordinating Site, in collaboration with the James and Margaret Tseng Loe Center for China Studies and the Education Department at Saint Vincent College present:

    "Infusing East Asia into K-12 Curriculum:  A one-day workshop for K-12 Teachers"

    Join us for a day of learning and conversation with scholars and artists focused on bringing East Asian history, cultures, and arts into K-12 classrooms.

    Participants will receive:

    • Certification of participation
    • 8 - Act 48/professional development hours
    • Classroom-ready teaching materials & art activities on Chinese and Japanese cultures
    • Fellowship with K-12 educators

     

    Date:  Wednesday, October 28, 2026

    Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm

    Location: Saint Vincent College (Information on parking and meeting rooms will be sent to registered participants in a follow up email.)

    Cost: Free to attend, but registration is required.
